We offer walks for wide variety of abilities. We are happy
to individually tailor a walk to your needs. Walks can be from one hour to whole days, even camp-outs for the adventurous.
For the most adventurous amongst you we are pleased to offer
weekend walks. Spend one or 2 full days walking, with evening barbecues. We can
offer you accommodation in our gite or a local Chambre d'Hotes.
We provide snacks or picnics, depending on the length of walk. Luxury
Champagne picnics to celebrate a special occasion can also be provided.
Our picnics are designed with the hungry walker in mind, and we
like to use locally produced food in season, with an emphasis on regional
quality produce. Where possible, we include organically grown salads and
vegetables from our own garden. Picnics include wine and soft drinks. Please
let us know in advance if you have any special requirements.
Below are some examples of our most popular walks.

2hrs Winds through the village to a fantastic view over
the surrounding mountains and nearby town. In autumn it can be combined with a
chestnut hunt. We follow a wooded avenue as it winds its way back to the
village. EUR40 per family

2hrs Slightly more challenging for the very young. We would
recommend carrying babies in a back pack for this walk, and very small walkers
may tire and need a bit of a carry. We leave the village and head towards the
river. After crossing the river we follow the river up into the woods, to enjoy
a lovely stroll through the woods and a snack stop. EUR20 per person EUR10 under 11's
The following walks are designed to be half to full day
walks; although it would be possible to carry a small child in arms or back pack,
the walks do involve covering some distance on forest paths, up quite steep
hills and on quite rough terrain. Please feel free to talk to us if you would
like more information. For an independent walker, we would estimate 7-10yrs to
be the minimum age a child could follow and enjoy the walk.

3-4hrs including picnic This is a great route for younger
walkers: lots of countryside to see, with some walking through small villages and
a stretch along the disused old mainline railway track. EUR45 per person EUR30 Under 11's

6-8hrs including picnic stop. The route of the master glass-makers takes us through areas long abandoned. A really lovely day out. In
autumn there is a chance to hunt for mushrooms, and in spring, beautiful woodland
flowers to admire. In summer the forest provides welcome shade, and in winter
stunning landscapes to be admired. EUR65 per person EUR35 Under 11's
